I’m not really sure why they call it sewing

It should be called “Yo dawg I heard you like ironing.”

In all seriousness I’ve spent hours today ironing/steaming fabric. Pictures of my wrinkled donut circle skirt were haunting me.The skirt is quite a bit with both its layers and I’m prepping the blouse with giant sleeves now.  My plans for dyeing have been delayed as I am somehow short on the white chiffon. I think I bought it before I realized the blouse was on the bias.

TAGS . padme . so much ironing . the skirt is about 15 yards I think . all needed to be ironed . then the sleeves are huge . then I need to make the pattern for the blouse from the photos . then embroider . thank goodness it is a long weekend . padme picnic . project . padme meadow . sewing .
